Jacob is a 23 year old natural bodybuilder who shot a couple weeks before competing in a bodybuilding contest. Jacob walked us through leg and shoulder workouts in the gym and posed in the hotel room, outside and in the gym. We worked with him again 1 and 2 years later.

When having a bad day... stop. Think of five things you are grateful for…feel better? Oscar Wilde said it best -- "Humanity takes itself too seriously. It is the world's original sin. If the caveman had known how to laugh, history would have been different."

I can't give solutions to all of life's problems, doubts, or fears. But I can listen to you, and together we will search for answer.

I can't change your past with all its heartache and pain, or the future with its untold stories. But I can be there now when you need me to care.

I can't keep your feet from stumbling. I can only offer my hand that you may grasp it and not fall.

Your joys, triumphs, successes, and happiness are not mine. Yet, I can share in your laughter.

Your decisions in life are not mine to make, nor to judge. I can only support you, encourage you, and help you when you ask.

I can't prevent you from falling away from friendship, from your values, from me. I can only pray for you, talk to you and wait for you.

I can't give you boundaries, which I have determined for you. But I can give you the room to change, room to grow, room to be yourself.

At the Finish Line

At the end of life we will not be judged by how many diplomas we have received, how much money we have made, how many great things we have done.
We will be judged by "I was hungry, and you gave me something to eat, I was naked and you clothed me. I was homeless, and you took me in."
Hungry not only for bread - but hungry for love.
Naked not only for clothing - but naked of human dignity and respect.
Homeless not only for want of a home of bricks - but homeless because of rejection.
